System and Network Administrator M/F

The company is looking for an System and Network Administrator.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Deploy and commission new user hardware and business software
• Deploy, configure and manage PFsense, HP & Dell network equipment (level 2 & 3 switches, router…)
• Deploy, configure and manage Dell server equipment (bare metal, storage array, etc.)
• Support ticket support and hardware and software troubleshooting
• Manage physical and key access to building security systems for users
• Diagnose failures and propose solutions to improve the information system
• Apply and enforce the company’s security policies (data security but also physical access security)
• Provide technical support to the various departments and maintenance of equipment and user software (from the company’s parent company and its subsidiaries around the world – English being the official language of communication)
• Train and raise awareness among users on best practices for the use of IT tools and security standards
• Design, monitoring and updating technical and regulatory documentation
• Route corporate archive storage media to secure external storage
• Management and monitoring of IT stocks in the Systems and Networks department

PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science
• 2 years’ experience in a similar position (including internship)
• Good knowledge of Windows products and operating environments (Windows Server 2022, 10/11 professional)
• Microsoft services, configurations, and roles: AD, GPO, RDP, LDAP, DHCP, DNS, DFS, DFSR, SMB, NTFS, WSUS, MDT
• Good knowledge of Linux products and operating environments (especially Debian)
• Linux services and configurations: Postfix, LDAP, Bind, Samba, DHCP, Ansible, Zabbix and Bacula would be a plus.
• Knowledge of language scripts: Powershell, Bash, Python
• Network knowledge: VLAN, 802.1X, TCP/IP, routing, NAT
• Virtualization Knowledge: ProxMox, VMware
• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Layer 3 & 7 Firewall, OpenVPN
• Practical and organizational skills
• Effectiveness in communicating with one’s direct work environment, customers or suppliers
• Patience and pedagogy
